அண்பான அதிரை வாசிகளுக்கு ஒரு வேண்டுகோள்,

நமதூரில் இயங்கி வரும், ஏர்டெல் மற்றும் ரிலையன்சை தடை செய்ய வேண்டும், ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் உள்ளத்தில் காவி கரைப்படிந்திருக்கிறது, அந்த இருவரும் அஹமதாபாத்தில் நடந்த தொழில்த்துரை மா நாட்டில் இப்படி பேசி உள்ளார்கள் " குஜராத் தலைநகர் அகமதாபாத்தில் நடந்த தொழில்துறை மாநாட்டில் பேசிய ஏர்டெல் அதிபர் சுனில் பாரதி மிட்டல், குஜராத் முதல்வரான நரேந்திர மோடியை இங்கே பேசியவர்கள் குஜராத்தின் சி.இ.ஓ. என்று குறிப்பிட்டனர். அவரால் குஜராத்தை மட்டுமல்ல நாட்டையே நடத்திச் செல்ல முடியும் என்றார்."

AN APPEAL FROM 'MASJIDUL AQSA'!

Dear viewers, Assalamu alaikum.

As you all know or heard that 'Maraicar Palli' is the oldest of all mosques in Adirampattinam. It was constructed by Dhahlam Maraicar, one of the earliest settlers in this coastal village and hence the name 'Maraicar Palli'.

Recently, about ten years back, it was reconstructed / renovated with the philanthrophic assistance of the natives. Concurrently, a new name of 'Masjidul Aqsa' was also bestowed on the mosque. Due to lack of required fund, some portins were left unfinished and now the financial position is very weak.

A new managing committee has been setup recently with the view to enhance the facilities for the worshippers by making some moderate alterations in the present position.

A kind appeal is putforth to the believers in general and to the 'muhallavasis' in particular to offer their generous donations for this noble cause. May Allah give you peace and prosperity! Aameen!

பண்பான பார்வையாளர்களே! அஸ்ஸலாமு அலைக்கும்.

'மரைக்கார் பள்ளி' அதிராம்பட்டினத்தில் புராதனமான பள்ளிவாசல் என்பதை நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அறிவீர்கள். அதிராம்பட்டினத்தில் குடியேறிய முதற்குடிமகன் களுள் ஒருவரான 'தஹ்லா மரைக்காயர்' என்ற பெருந்தனக்காரர் கட்டியதால், இதற்கு இப்பெயர் வழங்கலாயிற்று.

அண்மையில், சுமார் பத்தாண்டுகளுக்கு முன், பழமையடைந்திருந்த இப்பள்ளி, நல்லுள்ளம் கொண்ட நம்மூர்ச் சகோதரர்களின் பொருளுதவியால், புதுப்பித்துக் கட்டப்பட்டது. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, இப்பள்ளிக்கு, மஸ்ஜிதுல் அக்ஸா என்ற புதுப் பெயரும் சூட்டப்பட்டது. விரிவாக்கத்திற்குத் தேவையான முழுப் பொரு ளாதாரம் கிடைக்காத நிலையில், இதன் சில பணிகள் நிறைவேற்றப்படாமல் விடப்பட்டுள்ளன. அத்துடன், தற்போது இதன் பொருளாதாரமும் குறைவு.

தொழுகையாளிகளின் வசதிகளைக் கருதியும், எஞ்சியுள்ள பணிகளைத் தொடரவும், அண்மையில் புது நிர்வாகக் குழுவொன்று அமைக்கப்பட்டுச் செயல்படத் தொடங்கி யுள்ளது. இவ்வேண்டுகோளைக் கண்ணுறும் அறவுணர்வுள்ள அனைவரும், குறிப்பாக முஹல்லாவாசிகளும், இத்தூய பணிக்குத் தாராளமாகப் பொருளுதவி அனுப்பியுதவுமாறு கோருகின்றோம். உங்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் அமைதியையும் அருட்பேறுகளையும் பொழிவானாக! ஆமீன்!

Heavy Rain in Adirai

It is 17:30 hours evening of December 8, 2008

Reporting from Adirampattinam

It is raining heavily for the past half an hour and it is very cloudy and darker. From this morning it was raining from Thanjavur to Pappanadu but there was no rain in the morning here in Adirampattinam. However, the rain seem to be continuing till tonight according to the meteriological department.

It is a very crucial situation here in Adirampattinam since the EID festival is going to celebrated tomorrow 9th December morning. People of Adirampattinam are very much worried considering the Qurbani meats distribution though it is going to be raining in the morning.
